Konair

Born and raised in Barcelona, Konair has become one of the city’s most recognisable graffiti and street artists. With over 15 years of painting behind him, his work moves fluidly between the streets and galleries, always rooted in the same creative drive: to use public space as a canvas for freedom and expression. His murals are vibrant, playful, and instantly identifiable — reflections of both Barcelona’s urban energy and his own personal universe.

At the centre of his style is his signature tag: the bitten ice lolly. On the surface it’s simple, even nostalgic, but Konair uses it as a symbol full of tension — sweet but broken, colourful but imperfect, playful but subversive. It has become his emblem across the city and beyond, uniting walls, canvases, and collaborations under one instantly recognisable mark.

Konair’s work has travelled far outside Barcelona, with murals and exhibitions across Europe and the Americas, but his roots remain firmly in the city’s streets. Whether through graffiti, pop art, or surrealist influences, his art continues to push the line between public and personal, making him one of the most original voices in the Spanish street art scene.
